Hyderabad, July 30: The 11th All India Police Judo Cluster Championship 2026, hosted by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) under the All India Police Sports Control Board (AIPSCB), concluded on Thursday at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

Telangana Director General of Police C. V. Anand attended the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest and presented trophies to the winners. He praised the organisers for successfully conducting the championship and said such sporting events strengthen national integration and camaraderie among police forces.

Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) emerged as the Overall Champions with 203 points (24 Gold, 20 Silver, 23 Bronze). CISF secured the Runners-up position with 198 points (25 Gold, 16 Silver, 25 Bronze), while the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) finished third with 139 points (10 Gold, 21 Silver, 26 Bronze).

Representing the Intelligence Bureau, Sambandan S. highlighted the growing sporting excellence of Indian police forces. He noted that 11 police personnel represented India at the Paris Olympics, police athletes won 109 medals at the 2025–26 National Championships and 613 medals at the 2025 World Police and Fire Games. He also announced that India will host the 2029 World Police and Fire Games in Ahmedabad.

CISF ADG Vijay Prakash congratulated the winners and encouraged all participants to continue striving for excellence. He said CISF had recently completed its largest-ever sports recruitment drive, inducting 332 athletes, including 179 women.

Held from July 23 to 30, the championship witnessed participation from around 1,600 athletes and officials representing 36 Central and State Police organisations. A total of 470 medals (119 Gold, 119 Silver and 232 Bronze) were awarded across five disciplines, with 28 organisations winning at least one medal.
