Warangal, June 27: The Kaushal Mahotsav–2026, jointly organised by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), the Government of Telangana, and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), emerged as a major employment platform for the state's youth. More than 1,000 candidates received job offers during the one-day recruitment drive.

The event attracted over 4,500 registrations, while more than 2,200 candidates participated in the on-the-spot selection process. Over 90 leading companies from sectors including manufacturing, automobile, textiles, healthcare, information technology, tourism, banking and financial services conducted interviews and shortlisted candidates for various positions.

Speaking on the occasion, V.S. Aravind, Director, MSDE, said nearly 50 per cent of the participating candidates had already received job offers. He added that applications of the remaining candidates would continue to be reviewed by participating companies, which would contact eligible applicants for the next stages of recruitment.

Besides recruitment, the event also provided guidance on skill development programmes, apprenticeship opportunities, government initiatives, and overseas employment prospects. Public representatives, government officials and industry leaders attended the programme.
