Warangal, June 25: In a major boost to employment opportunities for young job seekers, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) will organise Kaushal Mahotsav–Warangal 2026 on June 27 at the Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Warangal.

Announcing the event at a press conference held at KITS on Thursday, MSDE Director V.S. Arvind said the mega employment and skill-connect programme will bring together more than 50 leading companies from various sectors and provide over 5,000 job opportunities for youth across Telangana.

The event aims to directly connect skilled candidates with employers through on-the-spot interviews and recruitment drives. Candidates ranging from school pass-outs, ITI graduates and diploma holders to degree graduates and skilled youth will be able to participate and explore employment and apprenticeship opportunities.

Companies from manufacturing, retail, logistics, automobile, textile, IT and IT-enabled services, healthcare, tourism and hospitality, telecom, and banking and financial services sectors are expected to participate. Leading recruiters including Prompt Personnel, ParadigmIT Technology Services, Sitaram Spinners, Royal Enfield dealership network, KAPSTON Services, Cream Stone, Jayabheri Automotives, Blink Commerce, Varun Motors and Electrolab India are set to offer a wide range of career opportunities.

Speaking on the occasion, V.S. Arvind said Kaushal Mahotsav reflects the Centre’s commitment to ensuring meaningful employment opportunities for every skilled youth. By bringing employers and job seekers onto a common platform, the initiative strengthens the link between skill development and sustainable livelihoods, he said.

Apart from recruitment, participants will also receive information on apprenticeship programmes, government skill-development initiatives, emerging career pathways, future-ready job roles and opportunities for upskilling and reskilling.

Thousands of aspirants from Warangal and neighbouring districts are expected to attend the event. Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited (TOMCOM) will also participate, offering overseas placement opportunities for eligible candidates.
