DGP Congratulates Dr. Merugu Ravi Kumar on Earning PhD in Cyber Security

Hyderabad: Dr. Merugu Ravi Kumar, who earned a PhD for his distinguished research in the field of Cyber Security, was congratulated by V.V. Srinivas, IPS, Director General of Police (Technical Services).
Dr. Ravi Kumar completed his doctoral research under the guidance of Dr. Ulaganathan on the topic, “An Analysis of Cyber Security Research Outcomes in India: A Two-Decade Study (2005–2024)”, and was awarded a PhD degree by Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
His research provides a comprehensive analysis of cyber security studies conducted in India over the past two decades and offers several recommendations for the future growth and development of the cyber security sector. Appreciating this academic achievement, DGP V.V. Srinivas extended his congratulations to Dr. Ravi Kumar.
Currently serving as the Head Librarian at Vasavi Engineering College, Dr. Merugu Ravi Kumar dedicated his research work to his mentor, V.V. Srinivas, IPS. He also expressed gratitude to his wife Priyanka, family members, friends, and colleagues for their constant support throughout his academic journey.
The management of Vasavi Engineering College, including Chairman P. Rama Mohan Rao, Secretary Parthasarathi, CEO P. Balaji, Principal Dr. S.V. Ramana, Treasurer Anand, and Joint Secretary Pallavi, also congratulated Dr. Ravi Kumar on his remarkable achievement.
Dr. Ravi Kumar further thanked the college management, Professor and Dean Dr. Adepu Kumaraswamy, and officials of the Defence Institute for their valuable support and encouragement during his research.
