The two-day “AI and Digital Learning” Teaching Internship conducted at Government Degree College, Hayathnagar, concluded successfully on June 20, 2026, with a valedictory session held on the college campus.

The internship was organized under the “Anna Akka Mentorship/Internship Programme” of the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education, Government of Telangana, with the theme “Empowering Educators through AI for a Digital Future.”

The valedictory function was presided over by Dr. P. Suresh Babu, Principal, GDC Hayathnagar. Dr. P. Bikshapathi from Matrusri Engineering College served as the Master Trainer for the two-day programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. P. Suresh Babu appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and faculty members. He stated that AI tools would help students become better educators and lifelong learners in the digital era. He also congratulated the nodal officers for successfully organizing the state-wide initiative at GDC Hayathnagar.

During the feedback session, students expressed positive views about the training programme. They noted that classroom tools and AI-based assessment methods were highly practical and would be beneficial for their future teaching careers. Many participants stated that the programme had given them the confidence to use AI ethically and effectively in classroom environments.

Dr. Bala Narasimha said that the successful completion of the internship reflects the commitment of GDC Hayathnagar towards the Telangana Government’s vision of creating AI-ready graduates across all Government Degree Colleges in the state.
